West Ham director Manuel Pellegrini said his side are becoming”more consistent and stronger” after continuing their fine start to the campaign with victory over Manchester United.
Aims from Aaron Cresswell and Andriy Yarmolenko earned their second home win against the Red Devils, who lost striker Marcus Rashford in the second half with a groin injury to the Hammers.
The result lifts up West Ham to fifth in the table – 12 areas and seven points better than at precisely exactly the same point last season.
“We have more quality, but we are also more consistent and more solid,” said Pellegrini.

“Essential moments went . They had some wonderful finishes. We simply didn’t have the caliber when we had those big minutes. At the Premier League if you don’t take them you wont receive any points. It tipped in their favor and we have to accept this.
“I’m disappointed we didn’t win now, but aside from that I’m being really optimistic. I have mentioned many times that there’ll be lows and highs. We’ve had some highs along the way, today we just have to take we have no points and look ahead to next week”
West Ham traveling to Oxford United in the next round of their Carabao Cup on Wednesday, 25 September (19:45 BST) before visiting Bournemouth from the Premier League on Saturday, 28 September (15:00 BST).
